How Dumb Are These People???

So I guess not everyone thinks he was evil and is in hell for angering God eh??
What I will do is give a very quick update about what we know so far..........and then proceed with the bizarre reason for this post......
So, what do we know so far about Heath's death?
The autopsy results so far are inconclusive - the NYC Medical Examiner told People that the results of the autopsy were inconclusive and further testing would be needed. It is expected to be 10 days before the results of the testing will be know.
Pneumonia ruled out - while Heath was suffering from pneumonia at the time of his death, it has been ruled out as the cause.
No illegal drugs were found in his apartment - Police told AP that a rolled up $20 note was found near Heath, but after testing they have confirmed that it did not contain traces of drugs - as first thought. 6 different kinds of prescription pills were found - anxiety and sleep medication.
Okay, so on to the real reason for this post...............
Here's one for the IT COULD ONLY HAPPEN IN THE US files. The Westboro Baptist Church has recently released a press statement stating that they will be picketing funeral services for Heath Ledger in the US............BECAUSE HE PLAYED A GAY CHARACTER IN A MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The press release anounced:
“Heath Ledger is now in Hell, and has begun serving his eternal sentence there...."
Shirley Phelps-Roper of the church also had these lovely words to say about Heath Ledger and homosexuality:
“Heath Ledger thought it was great fun defying God Almighty and His plain word; to wit; God Hates Fags! & Fag-Enablers! Ergo, God hates the sordid, tacky bucket of slime seasoned with vomit known as “Brokeback Mountain”—and He hates all persons having anything whatsoever to do with it. [sic]”
Mind you, this is the church group that has picketed the funerals of many deceased military serviceman because according to them..............homosexuals are the reason why the war is still ongoing in Iraq.
Hmmmm......nutjobs much???
This so-called Church Group is classified by the Southern Poverty Law Centre as a Hate Group (gee, I wonder why?).
I wonder if these people realise that Brokeback Mountain was a MOVIE......and it's highly unlikely that Heath actually did f**k Jake in real life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Holy shit.....who would have thought that there were a group of people who could make Britney Spears look A) Smart and B) Sane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...and if he and Jake had got it on, this church's subsequent actions after the death of Heath would STILL make them utter f***wits! Fictional love affair or not, those people are just f***ed up.

Son, Father, Actor and Real Person
I liked him, his work was powerful and made people think or laugh. He was human, suffered through many personal battles with demons that I know, so I can relate to him as a real person and father. End of story, end of life.
Thanks for sharing part of your life with us Heath.

I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday who is a nurse. SHe says that one sleepingpill is enough to kill you if you have pnuemonia, because you won't wake to clear the liquid by coughing and you will effectively drown.
As for the righteous and sinless... well all I can say is, no wonder Jesus wept!

Raven - we definitely need to clean out the gene pool!!!
I thought he was a great actor and did really interesting roles. And he really did seem to be a doting dad. I like your description of him as Real Person. He never seemed interested in the fame and fortune side of acting (like so many of them!). My only criticism would have been that he took himself WAY too seriously (you're an actor not saving the world). But I can appreciate that kind of intensity.
MNG - poor Nathan Lane, Robin Williams and Kevin Kline.....all going to hell!!! I can't quite figure it out either. But personally I don't think I want to spend time in Westboro's version of heaven anyway!!!
