The Week in Review (Wk ending 1st Oct)

Well last week was certainly the week for celebrity break ups:
1. Harry Morton confirmed that he and Lindsay Lohan are officially "taking a break" from their 2 month relationship. According to sources it was Lindsay's immaturity and partying that were the reasons for the split. Lindsay's strategy to pay-back Harry seems to be to drink as much as possible and shag as many men as possible. Not sure what she hopes to achieve, but I'm sure it'll be fun for her.
2. Eva Longoria and Tony Parker have also split, according to People magazine. Sources have cited their busy careers and travel as being the reason for the split. I don't care about the reason, I'm just pleased that I'll never have to look at another photo of these two mauling each other. Get a room!
On the other end of the spectrum, it was a busy weekend for (admittedly B-grade) celebrity marriages.
1. Amanda Peet married David Benioff on Saturday night. Amanda Peet is currently starring in Studio 60.
2. Isaac Hanson, of pop group Hanson, married his longtime girlfriend Nicole Dufresne in Oklahoma on Saturday. Wonder if Mmmm Bop was played at the reception?
It was also the week that Janet Jackson hit the publicity trail to promote her new album. She performed on The Today Show last friday morning, and managed to keep all her clothes on!!!! Janet has learned the hard way that a bit of exposed nipple still won't entice people to buy a really crap album!!! Hope this album is an improvement on her last ones.
And those are the highlights as I saw them last week.
