Tyra Lashes Out at Fat Comments

We all know Tyra Banks stacked on some pounds recently and has been called fat in just about every gossip magazine going round. So our favourite nutcase-former model-talk show host decided to address this on an episode of her show.
Here's the video. What she says really makes complete sense. Except of course, she's obviously dropped some of the weight she was carrying, cos she's definitely thinner than when those photos were taken. And lets remember that this is the host of America's Next Top Model. Now if one of the contestants on that show was the size that she is in those pictures, I'm pretty sure Tyra would tell her to lose some weight!!!
Tiny bit hypocritical Tyra! But hey, at least she seemed coherant....which is a step up for her.

I suppose at least she is trying to address the eating/size obsession that's happening in our society....but she has such a curious style of intonations when she talks that I find it hard to take her seriously...but at least she's trying....and I see nothing wrong with the size of her body....
I remember seeing an episode of Top Model where there was a 'larger-size' girl on it and Tyra was advocating that she should stay in the competition and encourage bigger size girls in the industry. There was another judge saying the girl was too fat and should be booted off.
So there you go...I had no idea I could write that much about Tyra Banks...my defence is that it's because I work from home and sometimes watch these crappy yet strangely addictive programs.

Tracy - wow, so that's what happens when you work from home huh?? I've only seen a couple of episodes of Tyra's show, but she's a nut. And it is very hard to take her at all seriously.

Tyra Banks, though... geez. There's not a lot you can say about celebrities - they're just normal people living abnormal lives and they get done for it. As Suzuki would say "Way of Life". I'm glad she's finally gained some weight. It's good for her. My hopes are that one day she'll become a plus size model. That would be something !
