Toni Collette is Pregnant

Soon to be mummy

Toni Collette has confirmed that she is expecting her first child, with her husband Dave Galafassi.

Toni, who has played a pregnant woman in her last 3 films, has said that she is "completely over the moon" to find herself in the family way. Toni and her band The Finish performed at the Sydney Live Earth concert on the weekend.

Congrats to Toni and Dave.

Favourite role of hers will always be Muriel in Muriel's Wedding. Go, Toni! I like listening to her interviews - down-to-earth, funny and witty. She's an underrated actress who deserves to get better roles and more exposure, I think.

Aimzter - I actually never liked Muriel's wedding....I'm possibly the only Australian who didnt!! But I do like Toni a lot.

Kylie,

I love this woman's work; from Muriel to (just last night) Little Miss Sunshine (what a great movie)...I laughed and laughed and laughed.

BUt I particualarly like her in that offbeat film, Japanese story, was it? Gosh it was a good film.

Glad she's stopping to have a child, it makes life complete.

Mis - I like her too. I like her ecclectic body of work.

Lilla - oh yes, she was great in Japanese Story. I really enjoyed that movie - I love it when you find a movie you know nothing about and just love.

Tracy - yeah, great film. I only saw it about a month ago.
