Is Tom Cruise the Real Father of Suri???

The fabulous DuskDevi alerted me to a conspiracy theory that I had been completely unaware of regarding the paternity of little Suri Cruise. Intrigued, I did some digging on the internet, and there are literally hundreds of conspiracy theories surrounding Suri Cruise and why Tom and Katie kept her in hiding for the first months of her life.
Some of the more outrageous ones include:
-The baby was created using L. Ron Hubbards DNA and will follow Tom Cruise as the leader of Scientology
- Suri was born with a disability
- The pregnancy was a publicity stunt and Katie was never actually pregnant
- Tom & Katie were holding out to get more money for the pictures
But, the conspiracy theory I was alerted to originally, is the most plausible. Now, do I really believe the conspiracy theory to be true? No, I don't.....but someone spent a lot of time thinking about it and it made me laugh, so here it is....
The story goes that when Katie Holmes split with her ex boyfriend Chris Klein in March 2005, she may or may not have realized she was pregnant with
his baby. She started dating Tom in April, 2005, and according to this
tale, when Tom found out she was expecting, he not only didn't MIND, but
he insisted on taking credit for the pregnancy.
They abruptly got engaged in June 2005. Since the baby was scheduled to be born too soon into their relationship, Tom and Katie faked the birth date.
According to the conspiracy theorists, Katie actually gave birth months EARLIER than the announced birth. She wore padding for the last few months after the REAL birth, and made sure she was photographed.
In case you don't remember, Suri's announced April 18 birth was oddly undocumented. Eventually, the birth certificate made its way onto the internet, but a few irregularities were found with it. Suri was born at St Johns Hospital, who have a policy of filing birth certificates within 10 days of the birth. However, Suri's certificate wasn't filed until May 8, 20 days after her supposed birth. Supposedly the reason for the delay was because the hospital required a signature from one of the parents or their rep and they weren't able to sign it until May 4. According to TMZ.com, the birth certificate was nto signed by Katie's doctor, but rather was signed by an attendant who was not in the delivery room at the time. The hospital confirmed that the doctor usually signs the birth certificate, however if he/she is unavailable the attendant who did sign it is authorised to do so.
According to our conspiracists, Tom and Katie didn't want their baby photographed because it would be apparent that Suri wasn't newborn. However, after a few months it's not so easy to recognize a baby's exact age, and that is why they waited until Suri was almost 4 1/2 month old to release pic's of her.

So, what do you think? Is this conspiracy true? Maybe it is, and we've all been duped. And maybe Elvis is still alive and working at a 7/11, and the moon landing was filmed in a studio, and Diana was killed by a hitman hired by the Queen of England? Who knows.
All I'll say is that Suri is a cute little kid, and I think she looks a lot like Tom. I don't quite get the media frenzy to see pictures of celebrity kids. Keeping your child out of the public eye and away from the huge crowds of papparazzi who follow you round does seem reasonable to me.
However, in saying all that, I must salute the person/people who did come up with this conspiracy theory. A lot of time and effort went in to putting it together. I mean, sure, whoever came up with it probably needs to get a life. But it makes for amusing reading.

The thing is, Tom Cruise is an incredibly wealthy man - if he was going to make Katie wear a false bump, I'm sure his millions of dollars could have bought something that looked completely realistic.
That's the problem with most conspiracy theories - if the people supposedly behind the conspiracies are powerful and wealthy, then they are going to do things right and make sure no evidence to the contrary exists.

Can you imagine Tom and Katie getting away with her giving birth a couple months early? When people are selling their stories to magazines if they see a celebrity at a restaurant, there's not enough money in the world to pay off a doctor/nurse who knew that the baby was born too early.

I think this is a Charles, Diana, Harry thing all over again.
But, funny how they didn't get married. Baby does look like the other one, she was supposed to be a good Catholic?, Tom hadn't been able to before, they are only just now getting married. It's all very strange, let's just hope the child is happy and is brought up to be. All that scientology training - poor little kid.
How are your little babies, they all look wonderful to me and they all get on, good parenting, obviously and by the same father, of course!

I wrote you a message...actually it was an epic to rival 'War and Peace'...in length not in calibre...but forgot to add this...Suri is a beautiful, happy looking and seeming child and I agree, she does look like TC...oh no!...just thought of something...(does this make me a fat guy who likes cheese??)...what if the next round of bulls**t theory is that Suri was hidden because she was getting cosmetic surgery to make her look like TC!!!!!!!!!!
Gasp...this is it how it happens...shouldn't have come out of the basement...
I have explained my reasons why I feel sorry for TC (perhaps I should have put them here but I got carried away in my email) and all the money in the world would never make me want to be in his shoes or even famous.
Maybe rich but not famous.

And indeed my little animal babies are all from the same father! (which is kind of odd because they all seem to be different species!).
DuskDevi - you can't help it if fat guys who like cheese come up with theories and then send the on to you! You of course wouldn't be in the basement (unless of course it's where you hide away from the family to get a moment of peace and quiet).
I wouldn't want to be Tom either.
Thanks for the conspiracy theory! And funnily enough, one of the theories I found on the internet was that the child didn't look enough like Tom and A) was having plastic surgery or (B) they were exchanging the child with one from overseas who did look like Tom. I'm not kidding either!

I have to admit, I had my own imagings going on (yes, I'm really a fat man eating cheese)...I loove cheese, by the way....
I saw this picture of the two of them, at some charity ball that Oprah attended, too, I think, and Katie was wearing this stunning white dress....
Anyway, I took one look at the picture, spotted she had a bit of a rounded tummy (yes, I'm one of those women...), and turned to my husband and said, 'She's pregnant!'
None of the magazines mentioned the roundness of her belly, or pregnancy at all....then next minute they were engaged....the next minute, she was pregnant!!
So I was already thinking back then, gee, they must have had sex like on their first date! Because of the whole how far along she was thing....
And then I remember reading this article, from like years ago, about his divorce from Mimi Rogers....where she, or a source (can't quite remember....I was like 12 at the time!), said she'd divorced Tom Cruise because he's infertile...
So I don't know!!
Just thought I'd add some spice to it all...
I'm obsessed with celebrities, after all....and I don't think they've helped stop all these weird rumours....
But, in the end, they're just a couple trying to live a normal life, and raise children....
Yeah, right! All the magazines from last week (I think I bought about 5! Was a big week in celebrity land!) had Katie and Tom at a soccer game...Katie at Brooke Shield's charity bash...

I really liked this conspiracy theory too because of it's plausability. I remember hearing that Tom was supposed to be infertile, and his first wife gettting pregnant as soon as they divorced. He never got Nic pregnant (well there was that miscarriage after they had separated....but then Tom was supposedly going to ask for DNA tests on the child to ascertain paternity, so perhaps he wasn't the father at all). But then knocks Katie up within days of them starting to date. It is a little weird.
Then there is the fact that I find Tom to be strangely asexual. He's not a bad looking guy, and can be charming in interviews, but the thought of him having sex is a little off-putting.
Guess we'll never know, but I'm sure there'll be more theories. In fact, I'll be in the basement eating cheese with the fat dude from Wisconsin and seeking them out.

I particularly liked the one where Nic had signed a contract to marry Tom. The agreement was that they had to say married for 10 years. She'd get something like $10M and a leg up in her career. Their marriage lasted only a couple of days short of ten years.

Funny enough it is all so weird, the biggest idiots can make babies and decent, intelligent, hardworking people can have difficulties. Nature is strange and weird at times. So you can come to the conclusion that making babies is nothing special, achieving something good and worthwhile in life is on the contrary very special. So again live and let live, the kid will be looked after in a good way and that is most important and will not be another addition to the criminal and the low layer of society.

Well, I can only have quite a logical thinking of it....
1) Suri is a beautiful baby girl who looks like Tom and quite a bit of Katie as well.
2) Tom is a weathy man. And science is really modern. Perhaps he has overcomed his infertality?
3) Did Katie and Tom had their relationship before Katie's break-up? That could have some thought going too.
4) If Suri is really born with disability, perhaps it is a pre-mature problem?
5) Are the photos taken in April REALLY in April?
There are so many question it can pop out. What if tabloids really try to come out with something to make it like hot-cakes? You know how newspapers and tabloids can be.
Just look at the positive side of it. A new life is born. Though the parents believes are uniquely different, that doesn't mean it is the end of the chance of little Suri to have a good childhood.

As for the Nic/Tom pregnancy, I reckon that after all those years, one of his miserable swimmers finally managed to get the job done and get her pregnant, but it was probably too weak or deformed to keep it going.
Tom of course, believing that it would never happen because he can't impregnate anyone, then jumps to the conclusion that Nic slept around on him which wasn't the case. So he demands the DNA test. His ideas are shattered when he finds out that it was his baby, but by then it's too late and all trust between them has been shattered.
Another thing I had heard was that Katie wasn't Tom's 1st pick for a 'girlfriend' and that 2 other young chippies had been approached first, subsequently turning them down.
If Kate was pregnant with Chris' baby, and Tom is trying to make himself look virile, also with similar facial features, then both of them get something out of the deal. It's just that nobody believes the version that they put out, which being so full of bull is hardly any wonder.

First, Tom did a mistake marrying Mimi; he was such younger than her the scientologist (thanks for converting Tom, grrr), and maybe Tom didn't want kids already.
