Sorry that there was no post yesterday. Damn gremlins in the system meant I couldn't post or leave any comments yesterday (grrr......). So, to make it up to you all.........and also because it's Friday , it's hot and we'd probably all rather be at the beach than at work, I give you this litte treat.
It's the time of year when Sports Illustrated start promoting their very popular Swimsuit Edition. As you can see from the picture above, Beyonce Knowles features in this years edition.

I believe that is has been 10 years since an Afro-American (or Afro-Saxon or...damn...am not too savvy with the PC race terms...can I just say 'black'?) model has graced the cover of SI.

My favourite SI model is Laetitia Casta (spelling?), I think she still models for L'Oreal.
I loved the Elle MacP issues too.
And the gremlins are still at it...someone watered the Mogwai again...

I didn't realise until researching that post that Tyra was the first black model on the SI. Good for her.
Beyonce is in fact the first ever non-model to grace the cover. I don't like Beyonce (that's putting it mildly), but DAMN does she look hot!!!!
The model's aren't exactly hard on the eyes are they. Bar Refaeli (Leo Di Caprio's current girlfriend) is very attractive. He knows how to pick the hotties!

I'm loving Aline Nakashima (have never heard of her but love her name) and Irina and um...this is sooo not PC but Jessica White...the irony amuses me.
Very gorgeous.
I do have to go with Beyonce being the most attractive though...maybe because she is more human goddess than freak of nature goddess...if you know what I mean?

In all honesty, I wasn't blown away by any of the models and their respective pics .... They all looked a bit samey ....
I'm with Dusk though ... Laetita Casta ... you can't go past that bombshell!

Dusk - Bar di caprio....hehehehe, that's terrible...and funny! And I hate to admit because I'm not a fan of hers, but Beyonce could definitely be the most attractive of the lot.
Apparently Tyra Banks went back and recreated her famous Swimsuit Edition cover a few weeks ago. The shots are going to be aired on her show next week. Apparently the bikini she wore had to have a few adjustments to help cover a little more flesh. We'll see how she looks!
