Musicians/Actors/Comedians…..Which are Sexier?

Sometimes (not often) I get introspective and think about politics, world peace and ways that I can make a positive contribution to society.
Other times, like now, I think about hard-hitting topics such as: Why Do I Find Musicians and Comedians Sexier Than Actors?
I’m not sure exactly why, but I do know that in my top ten list of sexiest men, the majority of spots are filled with musicians. Perhaps it’s because musicians create something, and that says something about who they are. Whereas actors take on a role that someone else has created. And that doesn’t really say that much about who they are as people. After all, they’re saying words that someone else wrote. Their movements on screen are dictated by a director. Sure there’s some room for an actors creativity to flow through, but it’s not like listening to a song and knowing that the person who wrote the song felt the exact way that you might be feeling right at that moment. Or maybe it’s just that I like the bad-boys of rock over the pretty actors? I’ll admit, my tastes in men can be a bit quirky. I don’t go necessarily for pretty boys. I like an interesting man. I also like a funny man, as evidenced by the number of comedians in my list.
To illustrate my point, I thought I’d include my Top 3 Sexiest People list. Now, I must warn you, that I’m a Libra. This means, that I have trouble making decisions. Therefore, my Top 3 list is not exactly a list of 3 men. It’s more that there are 3 levels and in each level a number of guys may dwell. At one point, just my Top 3 list contained 16 men. But please, bare with me.
1. In first place..... Dave Grohl - This is the only place on the list that only has one encumbent. There is no man on the planet sexier than Dave Grohl. He’s hot, he’s funny, he makes incredible music, he screams on stage like nobody I’ve ever heard, and also…..I just love drummers!
2. In second place we have:
- Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters Drummer) – like I said, I love drummers. Also, Taylor Hawkins (in my mind) is what Brad Pitt would be if he were sexy.
- Jack Black (Actor/Musician) – okay, not conventionally handsome, but there’s something about him that I just LOVE. And my god, can the man sing or what!
- Angelina Jolie (Actress) – Angelina is the reason that I called this my Sexiest People list, not sexiest men. I could have left her out, but in my mind she is the 2nd hottest person on the planet.
- Keanu Reeves (Actor) – easy to explain. May not be the worlds greatest actor, but I’ve loved him from the minute I laid eyes on him as the loveable Ted in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
- Adam Spencer (Aust Radio/TV personality) – those of you who know Adam Spencer, know that he has a PhD in mathematics, has a wonky eye and is very definitely a nerd. And I want him bad.
3. The 3rd placers are:
- Tony Martin (Aust Comedian/TV/Radio personality) – he’s geeky, but he’s hilarious and I love him. They could do a tv show of Tony sitting in a room doing nothing and I would watch it.
- Jason Statham (UK Actor) – God I love Jason. He is so cool. The Transporter and Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels are two of my all-time favourite movies.
- Chris Cornell (Musican – Soundgarden/Audioslave) – hot, hot, hot. Chris has the hottest singing voice of any man. And he looks delicious.
- Josh Homme (Musician – Queens of the Stone Age) – there’s something about this redhead that does it for me. He’s just cool. And also, I love any man whose approach to making an album is to get a bunch of people together, take them to the desert and provide a truckload of drugs and see what music comes of it (as he supposedly does for his Desert Sessions collections).
- Ross Noble (UK Comedian) – he’s kind of odd looking, and I’ve never heard him have a straight linear conversation. I think that’s why I love him so much. And also every year at the comedy festival he makes me laugh till it hurts.
- Danny Bhoy (Scottish Comedian) – he’s funny and HOT. Enough said.
- Joel Madden (Good Charlotte) – okay, so Good Charlotte are poppy punkers and not real punk at all, but there’s something about young Joel that does it for me (maybe it’s all the eyeliner????).

I wonder why we don't see more of her on tv and movies, cos she's quite a good actress. I happily admit that I was outraged at the thought of her going to the tv show Spin City, but she surprised me. I thought she was great in that comedic role.
So Heather would be on your list of hotties huh? Who else gets a guernsey?

That's why I find comedians very sexy - they are intelligent, funny and in general don't have an inflated view of their importance. Danny Bhoy is right up the top of my list, followed by Adam Hills and Arj Barker.
I do also find Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters quite sexy, mostly because he doesn't fall into the category of musicians I mentioned above.
