Selma Hayek Calls Off Engagement

July 21st 2008 09:42
Selma Hayek
She's single again boys......
Whew! Sorry for the break in transmission folks. I started a new job last week and have spent a week and a half on the road........but now I'm back and am ready to start sniffing out celebrity gossip!

Selma Hayek and her billionaire fiance Francois-Henri Pinault have officially called off their engagement. Selma's rep issued the following statement:

We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled. There will be no further comment,"

The couple have been together for a little over 2 years and have a daughter, Valentina Paloma who is almost a year old.

It may be sad news that the pair have separated, but men all around the world were heard cheering when the news was announced.

Ha ha ha ha ha, she's just called hers off and I'm getting ready to announce mine, I guess he couldn't keep his.....in his pants, oops, is that defamation?

But I'm not a celebrity like she is, thank goodness and maybe there was another reason?

Oh that is sad news, especially with the little one so young. Beautiful name, Valentina. Much better than Sunday Roast Echidna.

On the plus side, now she's single I can add her back on my 'Who would you turn gay for?' list. A very sexy lady, that one.

Hope work is settling down!

If they're not getting along well, I'd say it's good for the little girl in the long run.

Of course, D, but it's still sad that there is so much conflict between the two most important people in her life that they have to live apart so soon after becoming a family.

Yes--makes one think that a little more time spent living together on a trial basis before producing a child would have been in order here.
