Yeah baby, I'm no rapist!!!!!!!
Rikki made the news earlier this year for all the wrong reasons (and when I say "news", I obviously mean that only people who forego real news to dig into what has-been stars have been up to heard about it) when he was arrested on charges of rape. It was alleged that Rikki raped a woman at the Silver Star Casino in Mississippi.
The incident never moved to court proceedings and Rikki has since been cleared of all charges when it was proven that he wasn't even in the state of Mississippi at the time of the alleged rape.
As it turned out, a man by the name of John Minskoff apparently told the woman that he was Rikki Rockett in order to have sex with her. It then appears that the woman and her husband, believing that the woman had sex with Rikki claimed she was raped and were attempting to extort money from him in. Nice.
Note to woman pressing charges - if you're going to file bogus rape charges against someone you should try to ascertain that the man you are alleging raped you is A - who he says he is and B - was actually at least in the same state as you were at the time. Just a tip. Also, if you were looking for your 15 mins of fame........the former drummer of Poison isn't exactly going to catapult you into the stratosphere honey!
Rikki, being the classy kind of guy he is (dudes who were known more for their hair and make up than their music are always known for their class..........though don't even think of dissing Poison......I bloody loved their music) has decided to celebrate by throwing a "Hey I Might Be A Nobody Now, But At Least I'm Not A Rapist Party" okay, so I might have invented the name of his soiree.

So, I guess there's nothing holding Poison back now from doing what every other 80's band is currently doing - reuniting for a World Tour. They could probably use the cash.
On a more serious note. I have to tell you that this story actually makes me really angry. It's dumbass bitches like this girl who falsely accused Rikki of raping her that means that true victims of rape are often met with skepticism and treated as though they are the ones to blame. Crying rape isn't something you do to get famous or get back at someone who dumped or rejected you. It's serious shit and people who falsely claim it should be f**king ashamed of themselves and have to face some kind of punishment for it.

Here in the states many victims are victimized again by the "system" because they aren't believed. Thanks to false claims by other "so-called" victims. Pisses my ass off!
