Pete told the The Mirror, "there's been this lockdown and I can't get hold of her. This is the only way I can get through."
Some other pearls that Pete dropped in the interview included:
"I need her to know that she's out of her f***ing mind. Kate, if you love me then realise I don't want any other girl.
"Do I still love her? Don't ask me that question. Why do you think I'm here today talking to you? I'm here to tell her that I love her.

Talking of their love for one another, Pete told the Mirror
"It was love at first meet. When I met her she said she'd get a P tattoo, and I'd get a K. Soon afterwards she said 'I'm not fickle, I'll marry you'. I f***ed that up, didn't I?"
Though despite his love for Kate, Pete went on to say
Kate - a nasty old rag. We fell out for the same old reason. She accused me of f****** this girl who lives around the corner.
"We were watching a DVD together and Kate started going 'I could tell by the way you were sitting back there that you've f****d her'. I said 'You're out of your f****** mind'.
"I was really up for some peace and love that morning. I wasn't up for being called a c*** and being kicked in the head.
"She's got an awful temper. I grabbed a guitar and books and said 'I'm never going to be treated this way again'.

Don't you love the way it seems in Pete's mind that he walked out on Kate, rather than she kicked him out, had all his stuff removed from her house and then changed the locks. Ahh.....drugs!!
Anyway, on with the interview.....
While Pete went on to declare "I love her with all my heart. I wasn't going to go after a poxy model, let alone some girl I've known as a friend for years. Kate is both jealous and suspicious, the same as every woman. But being accused all the time of going with other women takes its toll." Of course, the day that Kate dumped Pete, he met a Parisian artist Christine and asked her to marry him. And she's said yes. They'll marry in November. Of that relationship, Pete says "I made rather a rash gesture. It was more in a fit of anger. I asked this bird Christine to marry me. She's gone back to Paris and I don't know what to do."
Hmmm....sounds like true love. I'm sure she'll love reading about this Pete.
Even though they've broken up, Kate still paid for Pete's current stint in rehab. And Pete was happy to tell the Mirror that Kate had drunkenly called him the night before and sung Moon River on his answering machine.
At least this time, it seems that Pete is determined to kick his heroin habit, having had an anti-drug implant which blocks receptors in his body so that he can't get high. However, according to The Sun newspaper Pete made a crude crack pipe on Monday. A friend told the paper that while Pete has given up heroin "he’s finding it hard to kick everything else."
“He was on so much drugs he can’t give them all up at once.— it’s too much for him.
“The way his mind thinks is that he’s come off the really hard stuff and a bit of crack to help him through won’t do him any harm.”

Yep, he's definitely serious about giving up the drugs.
Rather than being charmed by Pete's very public plea to her, Kate is apparently in a rage at Pete. Kate is less than pleased that Pete called her a "nasty old rag" and told everyone about her Moon River message on his phone.
Kate is now worried that Pete will 'tell all' about their relationship. Apparently Pete has debts of about $400,000(AUD) and no way to pay them off. And newspapers will probably pay plenty to get the rest of the story.
Ahh, such a tragic love story. What kind of a world do we live in where The Supermodel and The Junkie don't live happily ever after???? I mean if Kate and Pete or Britney and Kevin can't make it together, what chance do the rest of us have? It just breaks my heart.........

If Kate Moss takes him back this time we will all honestly have to wonder if she is on drugs too, I mean you would have to either be really stupid or on drugs to believe this guy is going to clean up, Heroin is the worst but the other stuff he is still on is pretty dam bad too, only a matter of time before his brain has the final implosion......TRAGIC and sad.

It is a bit tragic. From what I read of the interview, he's quite open about admiting that he has f**ked up most of his life through the use of drugs. And the antidrug implant can't be a bad thing. But you're a long way from being in a good place when you're thinking "hey, just a little crack to help me through won't be a bad thing".
And if Kate takes him back, she's an idiot. He needs to clean himself up and pronto, or he's going to be dead very soon
