Pete Doherty Back in Rehab

Whew, you know there was a couple of weeks in October when I thought that Pete Doherty might actually be trying to kick his heroin habit once and for all. But then I remembered that this is Pete that we're talking about. Pete doesn't let a little thing like 75 attempts at rehab and numerous arrests (why isn't he in jail????) stop him from getting high!
Last weekend, Pete attended the MTv European Awards, and happily told everyone about how well he was doing when it came to kicking drugs. He even joked to a reporter that he was 'missing' hard drugs.
He must have been missing them a lot. Because barely hours later Pete let himself be videoed shooting up!
The video, which was taken on a mobile phone, shows Pete look into the camera, then being cooking up, before injecting himself and slumping as the drugs hit his bloodstream.
Pete's people have come out and said that Pete was "a very foolish boy." Duh, ya think?? How stupid do you have to be to let yourself be video taped shooting up when you're pretty much the most notorious junkie in the UK???
Obviously that drug implant that was supposed to inhibit his receptors so that he couldn't get high on heroin anymore is working really well.

I know just how hard addiction is to overcome...
some manage...
some do not for a million different reasons...
so it may be gaol...
or, more likely, death that awaits this poor suffering addict.
He obviously has lost faith and trust in everyone around him, and worst of all, he has lost faith in himself.
