The People's Choice Awards

The Annual People's Choice Awards were held last night. The Awards where, as the title suggests, the winners are selected by the public.
The Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah, bought out the celebs in force. Given the winners are voted by the public, they're hardly a guage of quality, given that movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and Click picked up awards. But they are a fun affair.
A few of the celebrities even took an opportunity to take a dig at the beleagured Britney Spears.
As Jen Aniston accepted her award for Best Female Movie Star in a teeny tiny skirt, she smiled at audience members in the front row and said "Man, I tell you, it's a lucky thing we do wear underwear huh?"
Halle Berry who won for Best Action Star thanked God for helping her to remember her underwear.
Robin Williams, who picked up the award for Funniest Male Star thanked God for Halle Berrey wearing such a short dress and went on to say "Britney - underwear - remember that".
The big winner of the evening was Pirates of the Caribbean, picking up awards for:
- Male movie star - Johnny Depp
- Male action star - Johnny Depp
- On-screen match up - Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley
- Favourite movie
- Movie Drama

I was half expecting to hear that Robin Williams was claiming to be wearing Britney's underwear and that's why she didn't have any on that night! ; )

I'm actually a bit disappointed that 2 of my favourite celebrities (HB & RW) said such things, in a public place.
I mean...it's just a bit churlish and a cheap shot.
If they really cared they would call her up privately and say "yo Brit, your lack of underwear is a major overstatement"
or "just because Rachel went commando..."
or "Good Morning Tasmania!"
or "I'm not being catty, woman but you'd make a monster bawl..."
I am so above underwear jokes.
It just doesn't ride well with me.
