Paris - Going Home on Tuesday
June 25th 2007 04:08
The LA Sheriff's office has confirmed that Paris Hilton will be released from Lynwood Detention Centre on Tuesday after serving 23 days in prison.
Paris' mother, Kathy Hilton, who visited her daughter on the weekend has said that Paris is looking forward to going home. Saying that she's sick of wearing her orange prison jumpsuit. Other than wanting to go home and never wear the colour orange again, according to Kathy, Paris is doing very well.
Paris can be released at any time on June 26. You can bet the papparazzi will be camping outside the jail from now until the heiress is released trying to get a photo!
It looks like the Hilton family have gotten a little greedy and overestimated just how much the media is willing to pay to get the first post-prison interview with Paris. The Hiltons were initially eager to have Barbara Walters interview Paris. The ABC supposedly offered $100,000 for the interview. The Hilton family then told ABC that they'd given the interview to NBC who were willing to pay $1M. However, NBC is denying the claim saying that they do not pay for interviews. The red-faced Hilton's quickly scuttled back to Barbara hoping to take up the ABC's initial offer. Barbara Walters and her producer, were suitably concerned about the situation and decided to pass on the offer.
Oh my god, can you imagine how unimpressed Paris will be? Imagine spending 23 days in jail and NOT getting paid a million dollars for your first interview? That's just like, you know, like, not right. She did hard time dammit. She deserved that million dollars! I mean she's had to wear an orange jumpsuit. That can be tough on a girl.
Those Hilton's seem pretty business savvy huh? You have to wonder how they haven't bankrupted the Hotel chain.

It's probably naive of me to hope that maybe she has learned something from this experience. It would just be nice to have a Hollywood party girl actually think about her actions.
I've been missing reading your blog, Kylie! I hope you're well.
