The 79th Annual Academy Awards are currently underway. Here's a taste of what the celeb's on the red carpet are wearing:
No surprises here. Beyonce wears different versions of the same damn dress to every event! God I'm glad that Jennifer Hudson got nominated and Beyonce didn't. I really don't like her.
Say what you like about J-Lo, the diva can wear a frock like few can!
Okay, standing ovation please. This could possibly be the first time ever that Cameron has managed to pull a decent outfit together!!!!!! About f'ing time too!

but Gwynneth? ... Blonde Gwynneth? That pic of her? ...
That's just Mermaidish ... and I'd forego my brunette fetish for that ...
And if she played her cards right? She could have me for two nights ...
The rest of them? Fairly ordinary ... And there's hardly a woman on the planet that makes me want to puke more than Nicole 'Your're Kid(ding me)man ...
I don't know what it is about her that makes me want to vomit ... Her attitude mainly I guess ...
Whereas as an actress ... ? One of my favourite films is 'To Die For' ... but then she plays a ditzy bimbo in it ... so that might explain it? ...
It's women like Nicole Kidman who marry dickheads like Tom Cruise into Scientology ... and then marry some guy 'they'll support to the hilt' though his drug rehabilitation ... (why? is she so fucking dumb she didn't realise he had a habit when she met him? ... As in the minute the ring is on the finger and the fairy princess wedding is over ... ? it's time to change the guy ... )
Seriously ... Nicole Kidman is a headcase ...
But Gwynetth ... ? as I stated earlier ... she only has to play her cards right ... (actually ... she doesn't even have to do that ...
And ... all this is tongue in cheek okay ??? ... ***

David - Perhaps I can post a few pics of Gwyneth when she was a brunette??? I agree with you about Nicole Kidman. I don't like her. Never have. She's icy. You'd have to be careful having sex with her, cos you'd probably get frostbite!!

Well, I didn't watch the (T)Oscars but I saw snippets of the red carpet arrivals and could someone please tell Richard Wilkins to shut up?!
He asks the dumbest questions.
Nicole did look very statuesque...I loved her dress, as you say it's a change from her usual "I-look-naked" dresses.
...she's gotta lay off the botox though...the whole point of being an actor is being able to express lines....

Dusk - how'd you guess that I don't like Beyonce?? : ) I agree that Nicole has to lay off the botox. She's getting weird looking. I might not like her, but she's always been attractive. Now she's kind of frozen and weird.
And it's the first time I've seen Gwyneth look anything other than stick insect like. I was pleased.
It's a bit boring these days isn't it? With the professional stylists there's very few 'quirky' outfits. Penelope Cruz's frothy number was the closet to quirky that we got.
Cibby - Pene looked gorgeous....but her dress was a bit wrong. She looked like she had an ostrich attached to her. It wasn't my favourite. Luckily, she's stunning and can kind of get away with it.

And as for that song - someone needs to learn that 'less is sometimes more'. Just cos you've got 3 girls on stage who can really belt out a tune.....it doesn't mean they should scream the whole way through it! I loved what Beyonce was wearing during the song.
