Nicole and Joel to Marry.....

Will she be an unwed mother?

For those of you who were concerned that Nicole Richie was going to be a single mother, fear no more. TMZ is reporting that Joel Madden asked girlfriend, and soon to be mother of his child, Nicole Richie to marry him last Thursday. No word as to whether she said yes. Safe to assume that she did.

It's nice that their child won't be born out of wedlock. I mean it's one thing for a child to have to deal with the fact that your mother is Nicole Richie. Who has no talent, can't figure out which way to drive down the highway, and is a bitchy diva who seems to think the world owes her. But to be born illegitmate, would just be embarassing!!

Phew! Apart from you, I don't think anyone was more concerened about Nicole being a single mother than me.

I have to admit, I only commented because of the pic. I thought it was a post about Elton John marekting a new pair of Prada sunglases.

Bless my soul, now I can sleep peacefully at night knowing their child (whom I hope is not a girl as I cannot fathom another mini Nicole/Paris walking around Hollywood in those oversized sunnies) is not illegitimate. The horror of it! Having said that, good for them. I can't wait to flip through pages of glossy magazines who have paid 3 million to publish the wedding photos.

Is it wrong that I want those two crazy kids to work? I don't particularly like either of them, but I think it would be nice for two young Hollywood stars to get married and have it last for more than 5 minutes.
