Madonna Defends Adoption

The material girl, Madonna, has defended her intended adoption of a 1 year old Malawi child.
In an open letter, the Madonna insists that she and Guy Ritchie had followed the correct procedure for adopting a child and had acted according to the law, just like anyone else. She claims reports to the contrary as being totally inaccurate.
In her letter, Madonna says that she and Guy had begun the adoption process months before her trip to Malawi. She goes on to say that she was inspired to adopt a child after learning that there were over 1 million orphans in Malawi.
Madonna and Guy have been granted a temporary custody of David for 18mths, during which time their adoption request will be evaluated.
