1 f**king day in jail is all she gets???
Man, if I was Paris Hilton today, I would be throwing the mother of all temper tantrums today. As you all know, Paris Hilton served 23 days behind bars for driving when her licence was suspended. When she was caught by police, she wasn't speeding and she wasn't intoxicated. She simply was driving without a licence. An offence mind you, and she deserved whatever she got for being stupid. The judge tried to say that Paris Hilton wasn't treated any differently than an ordinary citizen. Which is quite obviously bullshit. When was the last time you heard of anyone spending time behind bars for driving without a licence. Especially since she wasn't a serial offender.
Nicole Richie has to serve 4 days in jail for driving the wrong way down the highway when she was stoned and on vicodin. It hardly seems fair when you compare it to Paris' sentence, but I figure, hey Nicole admitted her guilt, and that's probably what got her a lenient sentence.
But NOW there's Lindsay Lohan. First, Lindsay's cocaine possession charges were all dropped. These were the most serious of Lindsay's chargesas they were felony charges and could have resulted in serious jail time for the starlet. However, if that wasn't enough, Lindsay has reached a settlement with prosecutors. In exchange for peading guilty to 2 DUI charges, Lindsay will spend 1 day in jail and serve 10 days of community service, as well as completing a drug and alcohol program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! Lindsay has been placed on 36 months probation and will also have to pay hundreds of dollars in fines. OMG, hundreds of dollars you say. Gosh, that will certainly teach her a lesson won't it!
The drug and alcohol program will obviously be good for Lindsay. She'd done 2 stints in rehab prior to these two DUI's. But definitely this drug and alcohol program will be the one that fixes her right up!!!
Lindsay made this statement to the media:
"It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs.
"Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to charges in my case.
"No matter what I said when I was under the influence on the day I was arrested, I am not blaming anyone else for my conduct other than myself," the statement continues. "I thank God I did not injure others. I easily could have. I very much want to be healthy and gain control of my life and career and have asked for medical help in doing so. I am taking these steps to improve my life. Luckily, I am not alone in my daily struggle and I know that people like me have succeeded. Maybe with time it will become easier. I hope so."

. Gee you mean that claim that the cocaine wasn't hers, that the pants weren't hers and she didn't even know the coke was in the pants wasn't true??? Well, colour me shocked!1 f**king day in jail???? If 3 stints in rehab in the space of 8 months hasn't taught the little skank responsibility a couple hundred dollar fine, a night in jail, 10 days comunity service and ANOTHER drug and alcohol problem isn't going to help either.
I'm annoyed by this!

Strange they dropped the coke charges, musta been talcom powder in the bags or something...like on the Ab Fab episode. Actually happened to my cousin a few months ago, his lawyer forced them to test the contents and there was barely no drugs in there........he got completely ripped off, lucky or maybe unlucky if he didnt learn his lesson, same age as Li Lo and making the same mistakes.
