A place where we can indulge our obsession with all things celebrity.

That Didn't Take Long Did It......

If you're a connoisseur of bad taste, then you'll be in need of the latest fashion accessory a KKK Kramer t-shirt.

KKKramer T-Shirt

If you're not up with the latest celebrity gossip, Michael Richards went on a racial rant against African-Americans after being heckled at a show earlier in the week. Richards has apologised saying he didn't know what happened, as he's not racist at all (uh huh, sure).

Recently there have been reports that Richards may be sued for his rant and have to pay compensation.

Is it just me, or does that seem ridiculous to anyone else??? The last I heard, holding racist and bigotted opinions wasn't illegal. Distasteful.....most certainly, but not illegal. To me, it's another example of political correctness gone wrong.

But hey, if it works, watch out Lindsay Lohan........surely Paris Hilton will be coming after you through the courts for calling her a c#nt!!

Yeah, when you consider that they hadn't even found JKF Jr's plane before the joke emails started. I got my first joke Steve Irwin death text message about 2 days after his death, and it was less than 24 hours before the first Brocky one.

Always a market. But yeah, I'm not so sure it'll sell. I've seen better. Quite frankly I'm not so sure people will see the racially oriented ones quite so funny.

Hey Kylie!

Actually, believe it or not, I feel a bit sorry for him... I mean the guy is pathetic yes, but still, I believe he was frustrated and not even used to the stand-up comedy.

But the shirt is even more pathetic and disturbing.

Hey Filmpeeker,

Yeah I feel a bit sorry for him too. Yes he's a bigot and racist and that came out when he was under stress on stage (and I abhore racism).......but c'mon he's not the only one. Not sure about you, but I can think of plenty of redneck racists. He just got caught out.

I wonder if there would have been such an uproar if he was spewed forth racial slurs against arab/middle eastern people. What am I saying? Of course it's okay to discriminate against people of middle eastern descent......afterall they're all terrorists! Just ask anyone who looks vaguely arab looking trying to get through immigration at an airport!

I remember think it was George Lopez saying that he shouldnt have been up there anyways, because he is an actor, not a stand up comedian

I've never found him to be very funny. Even in Seinfeld I didn't find Kramer all that appealing.

Maybe he's desperate for a gig? Haven't seen much of him since Seinfeld finished all those years ago.

KylieW,

It's all quite ironic when you think about the final episode of Seinfeild (which I loved) ...

When is Jason Alexander going to bring out a loser 'Can't Stand Ya' T-shirt ... Now that one I will wear ... proudly ...

Homer ..

TonyK, T-Shirt Hell (the sellers of this T-Shirt) are known for their blatantly offensive T-shirts. They basically make a living out of poor taste. They certainly came up with this pretty quickly.

KKKramer. Wow. I am fascinated by how quickly the process starts. And, what is determined as 'shirt-worthy'.

I saw a clip of the hecklers' lawyers on CNN. It seems there are laws in California against "hate speech, so yes, it might get to court. It might even win.

"Your Honor, he called me a name!! Waaaahhhh!!"

I don't mean to make light of racism (joke about it, yes, absolutely!!), but if the worst thing that happens to me today is someone calls me a "cracker," this would certainly be in the running for Best Day Ever.

I don't feel sorry for him at all, it sounds like it was a matter of time before he got exposed for the racist he is. There are reports too, that he pulled a similar stunt last year doing stand-up as well, but was cursing Jews instead.
If that's true (and there seem to be quite a few people confirming this) then there's absolutely no excuse; it wasn't a one-off thing, and he wasn't unused to doing stand-up

Hey everyone, thanks for the comments.

Homer, I remember the Can't Stand Ya t-shirt. I think that's a great one.

And also, I don't make light of racism either, as I dislike racists, but suiing someone cos they called you a name? Can you be more of a crybaby????

Hi Anon, I've also seen the stories that last time it was Jews. Look, it doesn't matter who you're making comments about, or how stressed you are, if you come out with comments like that, you are a racist. African-American, Jews, Asians whatever. Someone who wasn't racist wouldn't even have had those thoughts go through their head (I know I wouldn't).

I thiink it'll be a while before he does anymore stand up!

This tshirt is the funniest shirt I've seen since the hitler warptour shirt. No I am not racist. People need to quit living in the past and worry about their own lives. So the guy made a mistake, don't we all. After all, who here is perfect.
