Kirstie Alley Reveals Bikini Body on Oprah

This week on Oprah, Kirstie Alley fulfilled a promise she made to Oprah a year ago to come back on the show and strut her stuff in a bikini.
The once overweight star who tipped the scales at somewhere between 100-130 kgs (depending on which womens magazine you read) became the spokesperson for Jenny Craig and has dropped approximately 35kgs.
As you can see from this photo, Kirstie looks fantastic these days.
At 55 years old, she's looking better than ever.
According to Kirstie she got in shape by hiking every morning and doing weight training in the afternoons, and of course, sticking to her Jenny Craig diet. On kirstie's diet blog she says "The most important reason I want to wear a bikini on Oprah is, because if I, a 55 year old woman can look even halfway decent, imagine how all of you could look in a bikini....I'm so tired of myself and other women feeling like they aren't good enough or beautiful enough or something enough, we are enough!" Good on her for having the guts to get put on a bikini on national tv (even though the bikini looked remarkably like a bra and undies)!

Hey, guess what I just found out today? Nicole Ritchie's cat is okay after it's 10 storey fall. All it got was a broken leg!! Man, that cat has used a few of his nine lives!

I had no idea she was that age, how time flies by.
Good support for women. Although they are supposed to carry more body fat than men. I sometimes think they forget that and get carried along by trends, which is a shame.
