Jennifer Lopez Becoming a Scientologist?
February 16th 2007 04:35
Hmmm……it may be that Jennifer Lopez’s public defending of Scientology may be more than a desire not to get new best friends Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes off side or to defend her father.
According to Fox News, both J Lo and her husband Marc Antony have been taking professional business meetings at the Scientology’s Celebrity Centre in Hollywood.
Anthony has supposedly taken the ‘purification’ course, which is essentially a sauna that “cures” all ills. It’s thought that Lopez may have invested in the religion thanks to the couple’s difficulty in conceiving a child and general difficulties in their marriage.
A celebrity centre?? Oh puhleese!!! Could this “religion” be any more ridiculous?.

Unfortunately Fox has not got a reputation of being a reliable news source. So this story will need to be confirmed from another source.

Consult Bryn,
Scientology seems to make everyone a lot of money, let's hope it is not at the expense of its poorer members. Hardly a religion, you're right. I believe it was banned at some stage, maybe not in the US. Murdoch tells us to forget all about moral values, so that's the way we can expect them to go.

Don't say that- they'll take it as a personal challenge.
I like how the critics all agree that L. Ron Huubard's writing has improved over the years since he's been "dead."
Katyzzz posts:
The money has to come from somewhere- or someone. I doubt even $cientologists accept Thetan currency.

Scientology was banned in Australia for sometime after an enquiry into to there behaviour. They were able to declare them selves a religionwhen they had 2000 members on the books.

I didn't know that Scientology had been banned in Australia!
Nina - Marc Antony is definitely unholy and needs purification!
Francis - you're completely right of course. Lets not issue any challenges to Hubbard's disciples!
Katyzz - Scientology is defiitely a pay-as-you-go religion!

Well, everyone religion has favoured the wealthy, has given them special seating at the front of churches, etc. So maybe scientology is just more open about it.
Just like every marriage involves the exchange of sex (often by both parties -- not just the female), and prostitutes are just more open about it.

And hey, they are being open about their bias towards the rich, which is more than most do.
