Jessica Simpson Can't Catch A Break

Poor old Jessica Simpson, just can't seem to catch a break lately. The songstress was in Washing DC for the Kennedy Centre Tribute to honour Dolly Parton, Steven Spielberg, Smokey Robinson, Andrew Llyod Weber and conductor Zubin Mehta.
Jessica and the newly separated Reece Witherspoon were on hand to take part in a musical tribute to Dolly Parton. Jessica was to sing Dolly's classic hit 9 to 5 when she forgot the words, muttered "so nervous" and fled the stage!
Jessica later returned to the stage along with the other singers in the tribute and appeared to still be crying.
I suppose we shouldn't be surprised that a girl who can't tell the difference between chicken and tuna, or who thought that buffalo wings were actually off buffalo couldn't remember all the words to the very difficult 9 to 5. But she hasn't performed much lately, so we should cut her a break.
Hey, at least she looked decent for once (dumping Rachel Zoe as her stylist hasn't really helped her look of late)! Surely that counts for something?
