Jessica Simpson & John Mayer Break Up......Or Have They?

According to reports, John dumped Jessica (well Jessica can't think for herself, so of course she couldn't be the one to do the dumping). But sources have said that the couple have broken up many times throughout their relationship and always gotten back together. The source said that the couple had been phoning and emailing each other.
When news of the split broke, Jess was in Cannes promoting her new film Major Movie Star (seriously, it's called that......irony huh?). When asked by reporters how she was doing, Jessica said that she was 'very happy', though she didn't want to talk about her personal life.
To celebrate the demise of their relationship, John went partying in New York. The singer was spotted at New York hotspot Stereo, where he was seen drinking not one, but TWO glasses of Jack Daniels........whoa there John, be careful or it'll be off to rehab for you!
Not content to simply break up and disappear off our radar altogether, the former lovebirds reunited in New York on Sunday night for a date. According to People's source, the couple "went on a date last night. They had a great time. They had dinner."
Damn, these two are so boring they can't even reunite in an interesting fashion!!! Now if Jessica had run into John Mayer at an event and he dragged her away from her date by her hair for a screaming match followed by make up sex in a broom closet somewhere.........well, that would be.......well.....cool!! But no. They go on a date.
