I'll just have a glass of water thanks
I've never liked Gwyneth Paltrow. Boring, bland, beige and bony is how I'd describe her. And now, she's given me more reason not to like her.
The blonde actress has come out and said that she thinks it's inappropriate for women to get drunk.
According to the folks at Famous magazine, Gwyneth has said "I think it's gross! I really don't like drunk women, it's such a bad look. I think it's completely inappropriate."
You know what I think is inappropriate??? Naming your kids stupid f'ing names like Apple and Moses. Do you have any idea how much those kids are going to hate you for that when they grow up??
Of course being drunk is a bad look, but for gods sake, how do you expect
Go back to your macrobiotic diet and your ashtunga yoga and your boring husband and leave us alcoholics alone!!!

OMG, I've never thought about the fact that her daughter is Apple Martin-i. Okay, I maybe don't hate the name so much now......seems to me that teetotalling Gwyneth didn't think that name through properly!!
David - why thank you kind sir. It's not like I write anything terribly original.....just insulting!
My post today was actually going to be a quiz where you had to guess the celebrity from a pic of her breasts. But then a friend alerted me to this story, and we were outraged, so the game got sidelined.
Also, I wasn't sure if certain folks in Orble-land might have found my game offensive....I'd hate to cause offense! Maybe I'll save that game for next week.

To me, drinking in public is horrible. I always feel as though people need alcohol to have a good time at pubs. I know that's probably not the case, but I keep myself sober just the same. It's more exciting being individual - the only one not making stupid faces and touching up man and woman alike.
Great article. I'm not sure Gwyneth is concerned so much with alcohol in the house, but rather drinking in public. Quite the conundrum.

Funzi eh! I like it.
Maybe I'm a bit sensitive here, but I must point out that I actually don't recall the last time I was drunk (feel the need to point that out to everyone before someone tries to stage an intervention. I was even the designated driver for New Years Eve). Probably a year ago....couldn't tell you.
There are definitely some people who can't have a good time without alcohol. Hell there's also people who shouldn't drink, because they aren't nice drunks (I have a few of those friends!)

The only people I like drunk are a certain few of my friends, who become extremely cute & giggly, and who inevitably want to go back home to sleep. The people I like less drunk are other friends who suggest leaving even more inebriated friends who have passed out, on random beaches in Thailand at the height of the Full Moon Party.
