What Was She Thinking?

Okay, so part of the reason I love Awards shows so much is to see the truly fabulous and more importantly, truly horrific outfits some of the stars wear. It doesn't matter how many stylists you have or how many millions are in your bank, there's always some truly terrible outfits on the red carpet. Last night's Golden Globes were no exception.
Where are the fashion police when you need them? These ladies all should have been sent home and not allowed back until they could find something decent to wear!!!
Now personally, if I was about to attend a party that my ex-boyfriend was going to be at, I'd want to look HOT. But apparently Cameron decided to really show Justin what he was missing out on, by wearing a ridiculous dress, too much blush and red lipstick to really highlight the fact that her mouth makes her look like The Joker! Yep, bet Justin was just kicking himself for letting her get away.
Go home Cameron, and come back when you can pick out a decent outfit.
Cate Blanchett usually manages to get it right for the red carpet. However, she was obviously suffering from temporary insantiy when she agreed to wear this gothic number. And what's with not bothering to brush your hair Cate?
I'm not sure what look she was going for here, but she missed it.
Oh look, the wicked witch of the west decided to attend the Golden Globes? Did Elizabeth Perkins get confused and think that the Golden Globes was a costume party?? That's the only thing I can think of. Elizabeth is an attractive older woman. Why did she decide that coming as a witch was the best way to show that off???
I can barely focus on this picture there are so many things going on! Imagine the poor people sitting behind Vanessa? There's no way they would be able to see over that enormous hair. How did she get through doorways with that hair???
And nothing sets of enormous hair better than wearing a dead animal over your dress. Stylish.
Okay, this dress is wrong. Nobody over the age of 7 should wear pompoms on the outfits. But for some reason I don't hate it as much as some of the others listed here. It's quirky and cute. But Rinko, please don't ever wear pompoms again. I don't care that they're Chanel pompoms.

Cameron usually looks eclectic stylish but this dress... kinda reminds me of a toilet brush!...no...remember those toilet paper dolls????
I do like her hair dark though, makes her eyes just pop.

And Cate...Cate...you're making me Blanch...ette not a gewd look lass...was she channelling Demi Moore?
Remember that really strange ballgown/bike pants dress she wore to the Oscars? Or was that Whoopi? Can't remember, but the dress was hideous.
Time to sack the stylists ladies....they soooo do not like you.
Yes style is an individual expression and perception and I'm sure these ladies left home thinking they've got it goin' on...but....seriously...who lied to them??

OMG, you're so right. Cameron is a toilet paper doll!!!
I've never found Cam to be particularly attractive, but she looks great with dark hair. It suits her more than blonde.
And yes, our very stylish Cate needs to take a long hard look at herself. It was indeed Demi Moore who wore that frock with the bike pants thing, and Cate is definitely channeling her.
It's all so very wrong!

Adrian - goth's eh? You know, that's not a bad idea. I think they need to start coming up with theme's for Awards shows and the attendes have to dress in a certain style: Goth, Clowns, Princesses, Homeless People. Make it more interesting!
