Eddie Van Halen Goes to Rehab

Eddie Van Halen

Van Halen guitar legend Eddie Van Halen has checked himself into rehab for alcohol addiction.

Eddie has had a long history of alcohol abuse. In 1999, he had a hip replacement of his right hip due to a degenerative condition that was at least partially as a result of his alcohol abuse.

In 2000, Eddie also had a cancerous tumour removed from his tongue.

Eddie was supposed to be joining the other Van Halen members in New York on Monday where the band were to be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. However, he won't attending. His rehab stint won't involve leave for field trips!

What with a bad hip, I suppose Eddie doesn't go ahead and jump much these days!!!

Wow. You would think the guy would just wait, attend the the ceremony and then check into rehab. Horrible timing.

How the mighty have fallen... MUAHAHAAHHAHAHA...

That's harsh, I'm sorry. But it's funny to see rockstars with bad hips and other "normal people" problems. These days Rehab could be like an exclusive, celebrity-only club for all we know. They all seem to attend.

Anthony - if you really want to celeb spot, you should be checking out rehab clinics! It's the place to be seen.

Francis - rehab for rehab addictions! I like it.

Katyzz - yeah, he looks like he's partied way too hard for too long!!!
