More Woes for Britney

Things just keep getting worse for Britney Spears.
When Britney finally dumped hubby Kevin Federline, it looked like things were finally looking up for the pop star. And for a moment there, Britney really did shine. She showered and cleaned herself up and surprised us all.
Then she surprised us again by quickly reverting to her trailer trash roots and becoming skankier than Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton….who knew it was possible?? Britney’s hard partying in the shortest mini-skirts sans undies shocked her fans everywhere (hell the pictures sent some folks blind!).
Now it seems that Britney has struck some professional problems. Firstly there was her passing out at the NYE function she hosted at Las Vegas nightclub Pure. Pure Nightclub are now refusing to pay the $400,000 fee for Britney’s appearance, saying that the star didn’t hang around the nightclub long enough. Nightclub owners are also unhappy with Britney’s PR people saying that she fell asleep. Well, it hardly reflects well on the nightclub if their star host is so bored by the whole thing she fell asleep.
Now, Page Six is reporting news of trouble with Britney’s new album. Britney has been working long hours laying down tracks for her new album (well, when she’s not passing out at parties anyway). Britney thinks her new tracks are great. Unfortunately her record label don’t. There’s talk inside the company that Britney will need to re-do the tracks or she’ll be dropped.
According to Cindy Adams, talk at Jive is that they’re worried that even if they re-do the tracks that Britney’s trashy ways have so alienated her fan base that they may be forking out extra dough on an album that nobody is going to buy.
Recording has been stopped on the album while the company decides what to do.
