They Won't Take No More of Britney's Jive.....

So rich....and yet so very very dumb
There will be no tour to accompany the album (though after seeing Brit's performance at the VMA's.....that's probably a bonus!).
"They can't get Britney to do anything!" said a source close to the label and Spears. "They did get her to do one photo-shoot for some promotional materials, but beyond that, they can't trust her to even show up. This album could've been so much bigger with Britney involved.
The story seems to have merit. Yesterday Britney phoned into Ryan Seacrest's radio show and when asked what publicity she was doing for the rest of the week, the response was "this is it."
Britney's first single off the album, "Gimme More" has soared up the iTunes charts, so it looks as though Jive will still have a hit on their hands. But it might be wise not to trust her. On the weekend, Britney was found wandering around the Four Seasons hotel in just her bikini bottoms looking confused. When she was asked where the pool was she responded with "oh is there a pool here?"
As for calling into Ryan Seacrest, well the most coherent thing Britney said was that she'd eaten some fried chicken! To listen to the interview, CLICK HERE
Of course, none of this will stop her album selling........pity.

She really is in trouble by the sounds of it...some have to get off the chemical roller coaster...in the basement...some six feet below that....time will tell.
