Britney's Family Feud

April 23rd 2007 02:26
Britney Spears
Is she on drugs? What is this outfit??
Life hasn't gotten any more settled for Britney Spears since she left rehab.

Last week, Britney fired her manager, Larry Rudolph, after she decided that he was wrong to send her to rehab (I've said it before, I'll say it again.......she's dumber than a box of hammers). Britney still believes that she didn't need rehab, as you may notice in the video I posted last week.

On Friday, Britney's dad, Jamie Spears gave a statement to Page Six apologising to Larry Rudolph for Britney's comments about Larry. Jamie went on to say:

"The Spears family would like to publicly apologize to Larry for our daughter's statements about him over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, she blames him and her family for where she is at today with her kids and career. Larry has always been there for Britney. For this, we will forever be grateful to him."

According to Britney's Dad, when Larry talked Britney into rehab, he was doing what her family and management knew needed to be done. Jamie even told Page Six that Britney has noone but herself to blame if she loses custody of her two kids.

Since firing Larry Rudolph, Britney has rehired her former publicist Leslie Sloane-Zelnick (who she fired last year). Leslie gave Page Six the following statement on behalf of the bimbo Britney.

"I am praying for my father. We have never had a good relationship. It's sad that all the men that have been in my life do not know how to accept a real woman's love. I am concentrating on my work and my life right now."

I think the comment was particularly nice, taking a swipe not only at her dad, but also K-Fed.....who, in his defence, has taken way better care of those kids than she has of late!

The Page Six report also states that a pal (or should I say, PUBLICIST) has said that Britney "had no drugs in her system when she was admitted to Promises - they [tested her] and there was nothing. She was embarrassed she had to go in there when she knew she was suffering from postpartum depression, not a drug or alcohol problem."

The same publicist pal said, of Britney's head shaving incident, "Britney's aunt had just died of cancer. She was feeling very guilty because she hadn't been there with her, she was overwhelmingly depressed and she shaved her head in solidarity."

Uh uh, right. Sorry Leslie, you seem to think that the rest of the world is as stupid as your client. Not buying your story. And Britney, honestly, you need to get your shit together girl. Cos if the picture above is any indication.....I'm assuming you're still on drugs. No sober person could possibly choose to wear this outfit.

Though you have to wonder, what kind of family do you belong to, when your family sends statements to the Press to chastise you instead of talking to you?

Bizarre. Do you think that maybe there's an argument here for not pushing kids into show business???

Hi Andrea,

Pleased to see that you won't be pushing your littleun's into a life of show biz! It's a guaranteed way to end up seriously screwed up from what I can see

Hi Kylie,

I agree with Andrea. I definitely think the parents should shoulder some of the blame for all this. Britney didn't spiral out of control overnight.

Love & stuff

Mrs M,

I agree. Her decline was charted through every mag and newspaper in the country. Why didn't her parents do something then?? Didn't take a rocket scientist to see that she was in trouble.
