Britney Quits Rehab & Shaves Her Head!

Britney Spears, or as I like to think of her, "Anna Nicole Jr" has made headlines again for all the wrong reasons.
Last week Britney Spears checked herself into Rehab. 24 hours later she checked herself out again. Wow, a whole 24 hours. Never say that Britney has a short attention span!
Then on Friday night the pop princess decided to shave off her hair at Esther's Hair Salon in Tarzana, California. Spears shaved off her own hair using the clippers. According to sources, "She just walked in and said she wanted to shave her head. Esther has been in the business for 30 years and said, 'I'm not doing that.' But Britney was set on having her head shaved so she started doing it herself."
Salon owner, Esther told Us magazine that "Britney had a blank face and showed little emotion whatsoever". The only display of emotion came when Britney looked in the mirror and had tears in her eyes when she said "Oh my god, I shaved it all off. My mom is going to be so upset with me."
Britney claimed she wanted her head shaved because her hair extensions were too tight and uncomfortable.
For those of you a little too obsessed with Britney can buy some of her hair! The classy owners of the hair salon who shaved Brit's hair are now selling scraps of Brit's hair on eBay! Click here if you'd like to purchase a lock of hair for the bargain price of $3450. I'm not sure what's scarier. The fact that the salon is selling her hair, or the fact that some nutjob will eventually pay over $3500 to own that lock of hair!
Personally, I think Britney is in the middle of a breakdown and her family need to take care of her. Having a breakdown in front of the papparazzi is the quickest way to kill your career (if she hasn't already killed it). Britney's mother Lynne is now apparently with the troubled popette. We'll soon see if it's any help.
Who would have thought that Kevin Federline would have turned out to the stable parent in that family???

I hear then that Dean was a virgin, with the guys it doesn't get a mention and it's hardly relevant for either, is it? And I guess it's one own private business, some people do not like to share all their personal details, despite those who insist on giving them to us, and I'm not referring to Dean here.
I gave him a few puns based on always 18, he didn't get them, the follies of youth.

But seeing that picture, I honestly feel bad. I mean, who wouldn't have a total breakdown with cameras trying to capture every mistake you make? Especially when you make as many as she has. (I really can't stop. I need rehab but I am not shaving my head.)
Yeah, uhmmm, those babies need to go to Kevin. NO, I refuse to think he is the stable one...I hear Brangelina is looking to adopt again, and no child in a third world country could possibly need rescuing more than Britney's babies at this point.

I agree with you Nina, I'm not sure how much help her mother will be. Most girls dont get to be world conquering popstars at the age of 15 without a mother pushing you along in the background! That's probably not the influence she needs right now.
Voices - I think you could be on to something. Perhaps Brangelina can adopt Britney's kids. Anything is better than Britney or Kevin raising them.
Bryn - yes, TRAILER TRASH is 100% right.
ChrisB - salon gets lots of money. But publicity or not, I can't see Brit's career ever being what it used to be.

Two thoughts about baldies...
1. Yay for people who aren't afraid to transgress female stereotypes.
2. I think there's a couple of models with shaved heads... I think it tends to improve their careers rather than damage them. Wigs are as good as real hair, you see; and a chrome dome allows for enormous flexibility.

Adrian - I think some women look great with the shaved head. And hey, wearing a wig would be way easier than doing your hair everyday. Though my take on the Britney thing is that she did it as a result of the many problems she has rather than to make a fashion statement.

But Britney. Well, Britney married a loser, got herself knocked up twice. Dumped the loser, lost weight, started partying, kept getting photographed without underwear, hooked up with a model and apparently almost screwed him to death, fucked Brandon Davis in the toilet of a nightclub, passed out at the NYE function she was hosting, is supposedly having orgies with women, then checked herself into rehab for 24 hours berfore deciding to get more tattoo's and shave her hair off.
