Well Britney has apologised to X17online (the org that the pap's work for) for the incident by sending them this letter to apologise.
Is she delusional, retarded or just stupid?
Not content to simply send the letter to the folks at X17oline, Britney also posted this message on her website:
I apologize to the pap for a stunt that was done 4 months ago regarding an umbrella. I was preparing my character for a role in a movie where the husband never plays his part so they switch places accidentally. I take all my roles very seriously and got a little carried away. Unfortunately I didn't get the part.
Britney is real subtle (she has a real mastery of the written word), so you might not have picked up that the notes were a dig at ex-husband Kevin Federline. But why post it now? The incident happened 4 months ago. Surely her management team should be filtering what this crazy b*tch says to the public? And if they're not censoring her, the least they could do is spell check and make sure that what she writes actually makes sense.
Also Britney, you were studying for a role....not a roll. Unless you were studying for the part of a jam roll. Which I would normally dismiss outright. But it is Britney we're talking about, and her trying to get into character to play a jam roll is hardly the most bizarre thing she's done. In fact Britney could dress up as a monkey and run around the streets eating banana's and throwing her own faeces at passers-by and the only thing I'd think to myself is "well it's good that she's eating fruit. It's important to eat 5 serves of fruits and vegetables each day". The b*tch is crazy. Crazy I tell you.

I agree. An apology with excuses isn't an apology at all. So why bother??? But then i don't expect britney to understand that.....she is after all a dumb-ass!
