Britney's First Performance Since Rehab

Britney looking stylish as usual!
Tonight in San Diego, Britney Spears will be do a 'surprise' performance at the House of Blues. This will the popette's first performance since rehab and she's touting it as her comeback performance.

She'll be performing at San Diego tonight and Anaheim tomorrow night.

The surprise performance is apparently going to be a Pussy Cat Dolls style affair. Tickets are being sold on eBay for up to $500.00.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd consider shelling out $500 for these tickets. After all, given her rather fragile grip on sanity, the chances are good that she'll have an on-stage meltdown! Oh that's mean, and I shouldn't be mean!

To atone, I'll offer Britney some free advice:

1. Fuck off those cowboy boots!!! They are not stylish. You look like even dumber than usual.

2. Piss off the hats too. You're wearing a wig....you don't need a hat as well. You look like a dumb redneck......oh wait...you are. In that case, feel free to keep the hat.

3. Make sure you glue that wig down. You don't want it coming off onstage......like it almost did while driving your convertible earlier this week (see below). Of course a smart person would have thought to themselves "a convertible, a wig and a hat"....one of these things doesn't go with the other two.

Wendi,

I think she needs more time too.

She can look so attractive at times.....and yet she chooses to wear these outfits!!

Kylie W ...

Your posts just keep getting better ...

Of course a smart person would have thought to themselves "a convertible, a wig and a hat"....one of these things doesn't go with the other two.

She ovbviously doesn't watch Sesame Street as much as she should ...

I'll know all about Britney Spears soon ...

And, I seriously wish Seinfield episodes were still being made ... Could you imagine an episode where George Costanza meets her and realises she's bald?

Why would someone make a dress out of an ironing board cover, or the curtains in the kiddies room, though?

David,

Yes, soon you too shall know more than you ever wanted to about Britney Spears.

It scares me sometimes the amount of brain space that is taken up by useless info about celebrities. I was at a trivia night last week, and one of the questions was "what is Elle McPherson's real name". Without even thinking I've just turned to the person writing our answers and said "Eleanor Nancy Gow".

Everyone else on our table just looked at me as if to say......why would anyone know that??? And I have to agree with them....why do I know these things?

If Britney had watched Sesame St more she'd probably be able to count and would know ALL the letters of the alphabet.

Mis,

I actually think that Britney looked pretty good with the shaved head. She had that Sinead O'Connor thing going on.

It was definitely better than the wig and hat combo. I don't get that at all.

Thanks for stopping by!

She's a nutcase, plain and simple.
I so hope she has a meltdown on stage!

I cannot even believe she's trying to make a comeback right now. she needs to be thinking about her kids and straightening up her life, and THEN do a comeback. It's just sad!!!

I really doesn't bother me at all (someone having trivia in the brain) ...

I've only been to a couple of trivia nights ... the types they hold at pubs ... I'm the guy the girls all look to when a Cricket or Aussie Rules question comes up ...

Where they'll go, 'Can you stop drinking and perving for a moment?'

And I'll just react like the guy in the Hahn ad. 'What?'

If you got a group of Orblers together at a Trivia Night? We'd be unbeatable as a team ... *

Bryn - ha, I'm glad you said it too! I feel bad for wanting her to have a meltdown on stage.....but I do.

Tammy - I agree. For gods sake, I'd say she's spent about half an hour with those kids since she left rehab. Why did she want to be a young mum, if she wasn't interested in ever seeing them.

David - I only go to pub trivia nights too (and not terribly often). I'm the ring-in for the celebrity and movie/music questions. Real trivia.....can't help you there. But bullshit questions....oh yeah, I've got those under control.

I'm actually seeing that as a good scenario for the next Hanh ice ad!

Orble trivia team would definitely be unbeatable!

I should have been a copywriter ... (Okay, so most of my ads would have been banned by the censors ... but the ones that got through would have been worth watching ... *

David,

Yeah, I'm pretty sure some of your ads would only be shown after midnight and in Europe.....but geez they'd be entertaining!

Is Brits wearing a nightie??

...although...must say...her legs look quite nice...

So...will her first song be 'Crazy'?...

Dusk,

Gerald Butler eh? Not bad....I wouldn't say no to getting a look under his kilt either.

If she'd stop wearing stupid outfits, Britney would look fine. She's in good shape at the moment physically (mentally.....well, 1 out 2 ain't bad).

Crazy! Why didn't I think of that!!!! hahaha

Poor Brit obviously doesn't know the meaning of 'surprise' performance. If every one knows about it, then its hardly a surprise, is it?
I do suspect, however, that everyone would be surprised if she came out on stage looking normal and actually performed well.

Apparently she did a damn fine job of MIMING five of her favourite songs - such a talent!!!!!

Nina - yeah, it wasn't much of a surprise at all.

Anon - yes, I heard. On stage for 14 minutes and mimed all 5 songs..........that's hardly a comeback if you ask me!!!

And hardly good value at $500 a ticket!!!

She should give it up, be with her kids and become nice chunky stay at home mum, so she can eat all day and watch lots of trash on tv.....

or she could always just look in the mirror!!!

Anon - I'd be seriously pissed if I paid $500 for a ticket (though, who pays $500 for a ticket to see Britney perform??).

I know I'd prefer it if she just stayed home for the rest of her life!
