Avril Lavigne Gives Advice to Britney

A few weeks ago, Canadian pop singer Avril Lavigne told the press that Britney Spears problems were her own fault. Said Avril, “what’s happened to Britney is all down to who she is as a person. If you want a piece of this business, you have to be able to deal with it. You can’t complain about the pressures, the paparazzi, the madness, because that’s the job.”
Now, while I generally do believe that if you make $120M from selling yourself to the world, then you don't have the right to complain when papparazzi want to take photo's of you. But while many of Britney's problems are her own fault, I hardly think that Avril can compare her fame to that of Britney's! C'mon, did anyone care when Avril married Deryck Whibley? Not really. Did the media lose their collective minds trying to get pics of Britney and K-Fed's wedding? That would be a resouding yes!
Now, Avril's at it again. This time, she's having a go at celebrities who complain about being tabloid targets.
In an interview, Avril said that celebrities who really want to avoid the press can do it. (So far, I'm finding nothing to criticise). Avril went on to say however that Britney Spears is one of the few who isn't capable of doing so (again, still not criticising. Britney is incapable of helping herself in this matter).
While Avril admits that she doesn't get the same amount of media attention that Britney does, she believes that it is mostly because that's how she wants it.
C'mon Avril, lets not delude ourselves. I don't think the only reason you don't get as much attention as Britney is because you don't seek out the press.......
Ah hell, Britney is a bit mental, but at least she's entertaining. Avril is just a whiny little wannabe who thinks a little too much of herself!
Just in case you were mistaken and believed that Avril had a sense of humour, take a look at this interview filmed earlier this year in the UK. Yes, the presenter is a bit of a dickhead......but would it have killed her to try and be personable?
It reminds me of a review I read after Avril Lavigne toured Australia in 2003 or 2004. My favourite comment from the review was:
"One wonders why Australian's hate Americans so much when you consider that Canada has inflicted Celine Dion, Bryan Adams and now Avril Lavigne on the world".

Americans think Avril doth protest too much.... She is known statewide as a scowling, a pain to interview, who takes her "art" and herself way too seriously. I support skater girl power and all that but seriously if you put a lump of coal up her ass, it would be a diamond in no time.

She is a pain in the ass little rat isnt she? I remember when she was on Rove - Youve got to give it to him for interview skills. She just sat there, curled in a chair, giving one word answers to his very cute questions, he tried everything to get her to speak, but nothing worked, until...

All the interviews I've ever seen of hers, she is woeful. And have you heard her sing live? She's bad!

I think Canada is just a beautiful country. And all the Canadian's I know are lovely. But I just can't stand little Avril Lavigne (I hate it that I find her new stuff really catchy when I hear it on the radio).
I remember that Rove interview. She was appalling. Such a little brat!
