Anna Nicole Smith Son Dies

On Sunday night, in the Bahama's, Anna Nicole Smith's 20 year old son, Daniel Wayne Smith died.
Daniel had arrived in the Bahama on Saturday to see his new baby sister, whom Anna Nicole had given birth to only last week.
At this stage, drugs and alcohol aren't believed to be a factor in Daniels death. However, the exact cause of death won't be known until the autopsy is completed.
According to sources, Daniel arrived in the Bahama's and went straight to the hospital to visit his mother and new sister. Daniel spent the night in his mothers room. From the reports in newspapers, Anna Nicole got up and saw her son in the chair, apparently asleep. When she couldn't wake him, she sounded the alarm. Medical personnel pronounced Smith dead shortly after.
As you'd expect, Anna Nicole is apparently devastated by the death and has the following message posted on her website:
"On September 7th Anna Nicole gave birth to a healthy 6 pound, 9 ounce baby girl. Her son Daniel was in the Bahamas with her to share in the joy of his baby sister when he passed away suddenly on the morning of September 10th. We have yet to learn the cause of death but do not believe that drugs or alcohol were a factor. Anna Nicole is absolutely devastated by the loss of her son. He was her pride and joy and an amazing human being. Please do not make any press inquiries at this time so that Anna Nicole can grieve in peace."
