Angelina Apologises to New Son

Angelina Jolie has welcomed her new 3 yr old son Pax (original name was Pham Quang) over the weekend. However, the actress is getting a case of the guilts over the effect that all the media scrutiny may have on her new son.

Angelina made a public apology, saying "Photographs and press coverage will make him upset. I'm very worried about that. I would like to say I'm sorry for bringing this into Pax's life".

Angelina also told the Ho Chi Ming City La newspaper "I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life. I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very proud and happy to be their mother."

Last Thursday, Jolie and Pax underwent the official ceremony of adoption, during which the bewildered little 3 yr old shed a few tears.

Angelina and her eldest son, Maddox are expected to stay in Vietnam until next week when they'll bring Pax back to the States to his new home.

Well, at least Angelina seems to care about the welfare of her new little tacker, rather than just showing him off to the press to prove she's a good person. Which is more than you can say for some celebrity adopters!!!

I'd like to be adopted by Angelina ...

Only if she'll breast feed me ...

But only with one of her breasts ...

My mouth isn't that big ... (it might seem like it is the way I write ...

but in reality, it's not ...

Poor old Brad ... I feel so sorry for him ...

How does he cope? ...

Had a big discussion regarding this contentious topic.
My Writing for Video tute decided that the buying and selling of children is now fashionable and one silly person (me) suggested that we should create a documentary that opens with someone searching eBay for blue eyed babies..

Great post, Kylie! I hope you get well and forget about what Jolie is doing. You don't need foreign kids to be happy. No, I don't care what everyone else is doing. You can't have one

David - Wow, I was sure that you'd be able to handle both breasts!! But one at a time I guess.

Tracy - yes, poor old Brad does seem to cope.

Anthony - oh, but I want to be like everyone else!!! Whhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyy can't I have a foreign baby???? Actually, I can barely take care of my cat....let alone a child. By the way, love the idea of searching for a baby on eBay. Inspired!!!

Kleo,

I've had the biggest girl crush on Angelina for years now. Though she do with putting on some weight. She's gotten so skinny lately. But she is the most amazingly beautiful woman.

'ethereal' is often thrown around in relation to Ange, and there arent many people who can do that word justice. What do you have to do to get born that beautiful? Im a student of genetics, and Im interested to see Shilo(spelt it wrong) because breeding the best to the best is sometimes a disaster!

Dear little fellow.. this is all really overwhelming to him right now. He's been brought into a crazy new high impact life that is about as alien to him as Mars would be. He doesn't understand what people are saying to him (How is his English so far?) he probably thinks the world has turned on it's head. he's terrified.

But this is pretty normal for children adopted from other countries. The culture shock. language delays and general all around weirdness of it all (kids can't rationalize this stuff when they're really little) will overwhelm him at first but I sincerely believe Angelina to be a kind and loving person, totally dedicated to her children and very intelligent with good judgement. He'll adjust in time and she'll do her best to make sure that adjustment is as easy as possible. She's an amazing woman from all accounts. He's lucky to have her for a mommy. The turmoil is somewhat unavoidable. But there is no denying that that child will live the best life possible in this big and loving family. If I knew her or could speak to her, I'd urge her to take a hiatus from the whole industry, and maybe even move to a low energy area for awhile while so he can first adjust to family. Having other children around him will help a lot.

Hey little Pax! Welcome to North America!

Hi Quinn,

Lovely comment. I can only imagine what a shock it must be for any of Angelina's adopted kids when they first joined her family. But I'm sure they'll adjust.

The thing I've always liked about Angelina is that unlike many celeb's she doesn't seem to be adopting kids to further her own career because it's now a trendy thing to be seen to be doing. And think of the opportunities her kids will all now have that they would never have been able to even imagine befor being adopted by her!

Thanks for stopping by

Kylie
