Alec & Kim in happier days
Alec Baldwin, for leaving an angry phone message for his daughter Ireland after she failed to answer a scheduled phone call from him.
TMZ.com have the audio of the phone call, though it's a little hard to hear. The highlights of the message include Baldwin saying:
"I don't give a damn that you're 12-years-old or 11-years-old, or a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do."
"You've made me feel like shit"
"This crap you pull on me with this goddamn phone situation that you would never dream of doing to your mother and you do it to me constantly over and over again."
"I am gonna get on a plane, and come out there for the day, and I'm gonna straighten your ass out when I see you... I'm gonnna really make sure you get it. So, you better be ready Friday the 20th to meet with me so I can let you know how I feel about what a rude little pig you really are."
Well god forbid that your daughter makes YOU feel like shit Alec. Cos I'm pretty sure that the fact that you and your ex, Kim Basinger, are using Ireland as a pawn against each other makes her feel pretty shit too.
On Wednesday, LA County Superior Court commissioner Maren Nelson heard the tape and has temporarily suspended Alec's visitation rights.
Baldwin and his lawyers have since released this statement on the TV show Extra:
"In the best interest of the child, Alec will do what the mother is pathologically incapable of doing ... keeping his mouth shut and obeying the court order. The mother and her lawyer leaked this sealed material in violation of a court order. Although Alec acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child, everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years."

Yes, I really feel for the poor kid. From memory, both parents have been using Ireland to basically hurt the other parent as much as possible. So very grown up.

Can't say I think too much of either Kim or Alec myself. Pisses me off when parents blatantly use their kids as weapons in divorces. So selfish. But then I don't expect either one of them has ever thought of anything except themselves....ever!
