What you talkin 'bout Willis..........
April 29th 2008 06:11
Sorry for the lack of posts recently folks. What can I say, I've had the week from hell and haven't had a minute free (getting screwed over really takes up a lot of time!). Anyway, we won't dwell on my misfortunes........rather, lets look at others! Oh yeah......
Lordy, Gary Coleman's marriage lasted less time than my recent job. Poor old Gary and his 22 year old bride, who wed in August last year are divorcing. In a very classy move, the two are going to appear in upcoming episodes of Divorce Court, to have their proceedings heard.
In a transcript that was provided to the AP, the pair will discuss their marital problems, which weirdly enough doesn't appear to include Coleman's catchcry of "what you talkin 'bout Willis"......ah but then again, that line never gets old. Instead it seems that Gary's temper was a problem. His wife, Shannon, says of Coleman, '"If he doesn't get his way, he throws a temper tantrum like a five-year-old does."
Price was also concerned about the fact that despite having no friends, Coleman would inexplicably disappear at night.
Gary tells Divorce Court that he is a negative person and doesn't have any friends, saying "I don't have any friends and don't have any intention of making any." He goes on to say that "People will stab you in the back, mistreat you, talk about me behind your back, steal from you. And they're not really your friends. (They're) only there because you're a celebrity or because they want to get something from you."
Hmmm.......that sounds like the kind of winning attitude that attracts good karma huh?
So, sadly, we will farewell the love match of Gary Coleman and Shannon Price in early May. Another couple I was sure would be together forever.........
Hmmmmmm...........you know, I think I'm going to have to see if Different Strokes has ever been released on DVD. Ah.....Mr Drummond, that hilarious little goldfish Abraham.
