Britney Seeking Medical Help

Finally getting some help

Sorry for the silence the last few days - I forgot to mention that I would be away from internet access for the early part of this week. But never fear, I'm back now.

We've long said that Ms Britney Spears has mental problems. Sure, girlfriend has the IQ of yogurt, but she's also suffering from a mental illness!! And at long last it looks at though Brit may actually be attempting to get some help!! About bloody time too!!!

TMZ is reporting that Britney has been seeing a psychiatrist every day at her home and she is on medication for bipolar disease. Apparently Brit has seen a barrage of doctors but it's taking her a while to get better because her disorder is so severe.

One professional has told TMZ that the medication isn't working, while others claim that when Britney takes her meds she's fine. But once she stops taking them (which she does as soon as she feels normal) she goes batshit crazy again.

The sources tell TMZ that whether the mediation is working or not, Britney really is trying.

Britney's new medicated status is probably at least partly due to the fact that her family ~~got worried enough that Britney would spend all her cash and they'd have to find real jobs~~ finally decided that seeing as they were the ones who have been living off Britney since she was 13 yrs old, that perhaps they had a responsibility to try and see if they help her get sane once again and decided to come to LA for a family intervention!

The intervention got off to a rocky start when Britney apparently had a fight with her friend Sam Lufti and got out of the car at the guardhouse of her mansion and wandered around crying! Then she got into a car with a papparazzi who took her to a supermarket before taking her home where Britney must have found her family waiting for her. She was so pleased to see her family that she fled from the house with her papparazzi boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. When they returned to the house, Britney and her mother made a late night visit to a local pharmacy (what is it with Britney and pharmacies???).

Yep, they look like a rock solid Brady Bunch kind of family don't they?

I promise this time I'll take rehab seriously......

Wow, she could be the poster girl for good health. That shade of bleach really brings out the corpse-like pallor of her skin!

Amy Winehouse's record company have announced that the ~~drug-f**ked~~ troubled singer has entered a rehab facility for the second time for her drug problem. Presumably she'll last longer than the 3 days she spent in rehab on her first attempt.

Her record company released a statemen to the media saying:

"Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors."

"She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards. She is nominated in an incredible six categories."

"Amy is the most talented and important musical artist of her generation and has made huge strides on her road to recovery. Universal Music Group wants nothing more than to see her take the time she needs to come back to full health and fulfill her incredible potential with the label."

"The label has always had the best interests of Amy at heart and has been guided by her family and doctors in the last few months as to the best direction to take. All concerned feel that Amy must put her health before all other considerations and will be by her side whenever and wherever they are needed."

I like the way the statement makes it sound as though Amy came to this decision herself and that it wasn't her record company threatening to drop her from the label that has caused her to go to rehab!!!

Amy's trip to rehab was precipitated by The Sun's expose on Amy's drug lifestyle publishing a video of her snorting powdered ecstasy and cocaine and smoking crack then wandering around her apartment in a hazy looking for her kitten. The footage was taken the night before she was due to appear in court to support her husband Blake Civil-Fielder at his remand hearing.

Police are still deciding whether charges will be laid against Amy over the contents of the video.

You won't be surprised to know that Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse have become friends over the last few months - junkies unite!!!

You know, I can understand going on a bender. Hell, I can understand having a drug problem. What I don't understand are idiot celebrities with serious drug problems who let themselves get caught on video and camera taking drugs!!!!!!!!!!! How f**king stupid do you have to be to let someone videotape you getting loaded when you're already coping plenty of flack for being a junkie???

Who knows, maybe this time rehab will work for Amy???

How Dumb Are These People???

So I guess not everyone thinks he was evil and is in hell for angering God eh??

It's safe to say that the acting world seems to be in shock after the news of Heath Ledger's death broke yesterday. I'm sure we'll read many version of 'the truth' and that the media will wring every single drop of hype out of his untimely death. I could post many of the updates about the investigation surrounding his death........but you're gonna get that in every magazine for the next couple weeks. And it seems a little weird. The guy is dead and nothing is going to change that.

What I will do is give a very quick update about what we know so far..........and then proceed with the bizarre reason for this post......

So, what do we know so far about Heath's death?

The autopsy results so far are inconclusive - the NYC Medical Examiner told People that the results of the autopsy were inconclusive and further testing would be needed. It is expected to be 10 days before the results of the testing will be know.

Pneumonia ruled out - while Heath was suffering from pneumonia at the time of his death, it has been ruled out as the cause.

No illegal drugs were found in his apartment - Police told AP that a rolled up $20 note was found near Heath, but after testing they have confirmed that it did not contain traces of drugs - as first thought. 6 different kinds of prescription pills were found - anxiety and sleep medication.

Okay, so on to the real reason for this post...............

Here's one for the IT COULD ONLY HAPPEN IN THE US files. The Westboro Baptist Church has recently released a press statement stating that they will be picketing funeral services for Heath Ledger in the US............BECAUSE HE PLAYED A GAY CHARACTER IN A MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The press release anounced:

“Heath Ledger is now in Hell, and has begun serving his eternal sentence there...."

Shirley Phelps-Roper of the church also had these lovely words to say about Heath Ledger and homosexuality:

“Heath Ledger thought it was great fun defying God Almighty and His plain word; to wit; God Hates Fags! & Fag-Enablers! Ergo, God hates the sordid, tacky bucket of slime seasoned with vomit known as “Brokeback Mountain”—and He hates all persons having anything whatsoever to do with it. [sic]”

Mind you, this is the church group that has picketed the funerals of many deceased military serviceman because according to them..............homosexuals are the reason why the war is still ongoing in Iraq.

Hmmmm......nutjobs much???

This so-called Church Group is classified by the Southern Poverty Law Centre as a Hate Group (gee, I wonder why?).

I wonder if these people realise that Brokeback Mountain was a MOVIE......and it's highly unlikely that Heath actually did f**k Jake in real life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy shit.....who would have thought that there were a group of people who could make Britney Spears look A) Smart and B) Sane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heath Ledger Dies

Heath Ledger was found dead of a suspected drug overdose

28 year old Australian actor, Heath Ledger has been found dead at his New York apartment. Heath is believed to have died of a drug overdose.

He was found at 3:30pm yesterday afternoon (NY time) by his housekeeper with pills strewn about him. So far it's unclear whether his overdose was accidental or intentional

So seriously in fact that Eddie and his new bride Tracy Edmonds have split after just 2 weeks of marriage. Damn, even Pamela Anderson manages to stay married for more than 2 weeks!!!!

It was a big baby weekend in LA last weekend.

Last Friday, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden welcomed their new daughter into the world. Little Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born on Friday at Cedars-Sinai in LA. Michelle Rodriguez Released From Jail

She looks as though she'd be right at home in prison!!

Lost star, Michelle Rodriguez, was released from prison yesterday after service 18 days of her 180 day sentence.

Michelle was sentenced to 180 days prison after she violated her probation for an earlier DUI and hit and run charge in 2003. Michelle obviously didn't think too much of probation, as while initially on probation, she was caught drink driving in Hawaii and served 5 days in jail there. Then a further one day in jail in LA for violating that parole. As part of Michelle's probation she was ordered to do community service and wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet. Apparently she had better things to do and didn't bother with the community service and is way too hard core to let a little thing like an alcohol monitoring bracelet stop her from drinking

Britney Spears being taken off to hospital

Where's my gun? I swear if you don't unstrap me I'll bust a cap in your ass!!!!

No that's not a euphemism for anything. Seriously, Britney apparently has 2 handguns in her house, which is the reason Kevin Federline was worried when Brit was locked in her bedroom with the kids last week when she refused to hand them over.

Britney supposedly had a Beretta 92FS which she keeps in her bedroom! K-Fed knew this because he was the one who gave Brit the handgun for her birthday!! Wow, how romantic. A handgun. Who wants lingerie, clothes or jewellery for your birthday? Nothing says 'I Love You' like a Beretta!!! Britney also had another gun - a Glock. You know, which is cool. Cos if I was going to carry round a gun. It would definitely be a Glock. Nothing says badass like a Glock

Britneys Big Blunder

Whew! Not on drugs......just batshit crazy

Unless you didn't read or watch any news last weekend, you must be aware of Britney Spears big meltdown last Thursday night. Unfortunately I heard all about it while I was away and without Internet access - my worst nightmare!!!!!

Kevin Federline despatched his trusty bodyguard to pick up his kids from Britney (cos you know, K-Fed is a big star, he was WAY too busy doing other stuff to pick the kids up himself). For whatever reason, Britney decided that she didn't want to hand over her kids -it's not her fault. She totally told K-Fed to get his bodyguard to stop by Starbucks and bring her a double decaf non-fat frappucino with extra whipped cream, and there was NO way that frappucino had extra whipped cream. No extra cream.....no kids. Okay, so maybe I made that up. But then, that's probably still more rational than what was going through Britney's head
