K-Fed Will Be Back
May 31st 2007 05:18
Remember way back in November last year when we all cheered because Britney Spears finally got around to dumping her dumbass husband Kevin Federline? (Who knew back then the K-Fed would be the one to actually retain some dignity throughout the divorce???).
You may even remember that Kevin released a rap album called Playing With Fire. It was a truly superb album that sold an amazing 6,495 units in it's first week of release, debuting at 151 on the music charts and was referred to as "poison" by Rolling Stone Magazine. Lets just compare that to Justin Timberlake's latest album Future Sex/Love Sounds, which sold 684,400 units in it's first week and debuted at Number 1. Okay, so he sold almost as many cd's as JT. I mean 6,495 is what, half of 684,400? Oh no, that's not right. Ummm....30%? No, still not right. 10%? Hmmm.....nope. Oh, 1% of JT's. Yep, seems to add up.
So, his debut wasn't the most successful in history.
But that's not stopping K-Fed. He's planning to release a second album. And this time he's using his OWN money (cos no record label in the world would pay for him to make another one!).
According to Janet Charlton, K-Fed's consulting with friends he's made in the music biz and is basically making the album himself in his home studio. Good to see that he's put that divorce settlement to good use.
Apparently, K-Fed spends most of his time at home working on the album, saying that he only goes out to clubs these days if he's being paid to be there. So presumably, he's spending A LOT of time at home........cos who would pay to have him at their club????
Well, I guess someone has to be home with the kids. God knows his even-dumber-than-he-is ex-wife isn't bothering. You know, sometimes I think it really was a tragedy that Brit and Kev broke up. I'm not sure either of them will ever find someone as trailer trash as they are!!
And as if the idea of having your ears assailed by K-Fed again isn't bad enough, it's been reported that Kevin has landed himself a movie role in a new film starring Keanu Reeves and Forest Whittaker. The role will be "small but notable".
