The fabulous Dita Von Teese is in Australia for Fashion Week! The burlesque queen is in town to act as Harpers Bazaar's 'guest' fashion editor and spokesperson for MAC Cosmetics. Dita arrived in Sydney last Thursday (as you can see, she obviously doesn't believe in packing lightly!).


Marilyn Manson's ex has taken time to see the sights in Sydney. She caught up with Perez Hilton on Saturday night at Icebergs. One of the topics of the evening was Marilyn Manson's new video for his song Heart Shaped Glasses. Below is a 30 second preview of the video. Essentially, it's Manson kissing and fondling his 19 yr old girlfriend Evan Rachael Wood, covered in blood. And they're laying on a replica of the bed that Dita and Marilyn used to share.



Now that's classy.

We'll be keeping our eyes out for Dita spottings throughout Fashion Week.

Lindsay Lohan's Driver Is More Of A Tool Than She Is

Lindsay Lohan's driver seems to think he's rather more important than he actually is. Lindsay's driver, John Zagata, ran into the back of Antonia Bennett's (Tony Bennett's daughter) car the other day. Rather than apologise for the accident, he tried a different tack.....abuse!


John Zagata, who was waiting to pick up LiLo, was talking on his mobile phone when he ran into Antonia's car. He then jumped out of the car screaming 'Don't you know who I am? I represent Lindsay Lohan! How dare you get in my way!'

You're right of course to yell John. How very rude of Antonia to be on the road in front of you. Oh, by the way John, I'm not sure if you're aware of this. But you actually aren't Lindsay Lohan. Why would ANYONE recognise you, you moron? Of course, half the time Lindsay doesn't even know her own name, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that she'd hire a driver who thinks he's famous.

Zagata then tried to blame the accident on Antonia, however 6 witnesses were present to confirm that in fact it was Zagata who was to blame.

Lindsay's publicist has said that the whole story was a fabrication and that John Zagata would never speak that way to anyone, saying that 'to blame a driver is the lowest'. And Lindsay's publicist would know about low acts. Just look who she represents!

American Idol Charity Show - A Couple Cute Videos

American Idol held a charity event called 'Idol Gives Back', a charity event to raise funds to help children living in poverty in Africa and the USA. The show was broadcast in the US on April 24 and 25, and featured plenty of celebrities.

Here's a couple of video highlights.

1. Staying Alive - a cute video with celebrities lip-syncing to the Bee Gee's hit Staying Alive. Take a look and let me know if you can figure out what drugs Teri Hatcher is on. I'm guessing that they're hallucinogenic in nature cos she seems to be under the delusion that she's starring in Flashdance or some other 1980's dance movie!



2. Simon Cowell and The Simpson - Simon Cowell sends himself (and his co stars) up in this spoof of American Idol featuring the Simpsons. Kinda cute.

Richard Gere kisses Shilpa Shetty
An Indian court has issued a warrant for the arrest of Richard Gere and Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty for a public kiss that took place last Thursday at an HIV/AIDS awareness event, that 'transgressed all limits of vulgarity'.

Judge Dinesh Gupta issed the warrants after a local citizen filed a complaint charging that the public display of affection offended local sensibilities. Gupta viewed television footage of the event, calling it 'highly sexually erotic', and agreed that the pair violated India's strict public obscenity laws. The judge took a swipe at Shetty for not resisting Gere's kisses and ordered her to appear in court on May 5th

Life hasn't gotten any more settled for Britney Spears since she left rehab.

Last week, Britney fired her manager, Larry Rudolph, after she decided that he was wrong to send her to rehab (I've said it before, I'll say it again.......she's dumber than a box of hammers). Britney still believes that she didn't need rehab, as you may notice in the video I posted last week

A few weeks ago, Canadian pop singer Avril Lavigne told the press that Britney Spears problems were her own fault. Said Avril, “what’s happened to Britney is all down to who she is as a person. If you want a piece of this business, you have to be able to deal with it. You can’t complain about the pressures, the paparazzi, the madness, because that’s the job.”

Now, while I generally do believe that if you make $120M from selling yourself to the world, then you don't have the right to complain when papparazzi want to take photo's of you. But while many of Britney's problems are her own fault, I hardly think that Avril can compare her fame to that of Britney's! C'mon, did anyone care when Avril married Deryck Whibley? Not really. Did the media lose their collective minds trying to get pics of Britney and K-Fed's wedding? That would be a resouding yes

The impetus behind the breakup is suggested to be the constant attention from the media. Well the mystery of just who is Dannielynn Smith's father has finally been answered. No it wasn't Prince Frederic Von Anhalt (Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband and the man Anna Nicole supposedly had a decade long affair with). It wasn't OJ Simpson. It wasn't even Anna Nicole's dead second husband J. Howard Marshall. And unfortunately for Howard K. Stern, he's not the father either.

DNA results have now proven that photographer Larry Birkhead is indeed Dannielynn Smith's father. Larry announced the good news to the world, saying "I told you so".
