Are the Papparazzi Going Too Far?
October 31st 2006 23:46
The question of whether the papparazzi are taking it too far in trying to get pictures of celeb's has again been raised with the news that an E! Networks producer and cameraman trespassed on Brad Pitts property.
Trespassing charges have been laid and reps for Brad are exploring the legal options that they may take against both the crew who trespassed and the E! Network.
According to news sources the E! crew walked onto Pitt's property where workmen were working on the house.
Now, generally I'm all for the papparazzi having the freedom to photograph celeb's. Lets face it, the majority of stars are looking for publicity. Before they're famous, our stars are courting the papparazzi to get their name out there. Different story once they are famous however.
But, the one place any celebrity should feel safe and protected in, is their own home. Brad Pitt has previously had an incident where a psycho fan broke into his house. So these days, you'd think he'd be pretty unhappy with anyone being there who shouldn't. And what right did the E! crew think they had to wander onto the property. You wouldn't want people just happily wandering around your own house. Why should Brad have to deal with that just because he's famous?
I think, they've taken it too far. For gods sake, Brad and Angelina are in India at the moment. So what was so special at the house that reporters needed to try and get in there?
I don't care what your story is, stay out of celeb's homes. But that's my opinion. What do you think?
